I'm Thuan, a software engineer based in the UK. I work at Roke, where I get to play with Python, Kotlin, C#, JavaScript, and whatever else seems interesting that week.
I started this site because I kept finding myself down rabbit holes - some new framework, a productivity system that actually stuck, a random tool that changed how I work - and I wanted somewhere to write about it. Partly to share, mostly to think out loud.
What I write about
Honestly? Whatever I'm curious about at the time. But it usually falls into a few buckets:
- Tech stuff - Tools I'm experimenting with, things I've built, frameworks I'm learning. The "wait, this is actually cool" moments.
- Productivity - Not the hustle culture kind. More like: here's a system that helped me stop feeling overwhelmed, or here's why I deleted half my apps.
- Random reflections - Thoughts on work, learning, and trying to get better at things without burning out.
Why this exists
I've always learned best by building things and writing about them. There's something about having to explain an idea that forces you to actually understand it. Half the posts here started as "let me figure this out" and turned into "okay, maybe this is useful for someone else too."
Also, I just like the internet when it's people sharing what they're genuinely into. Not content marketing, not engagement farming. Just: here's a thing I found interesting, maybe you will too.
Get in touch
I'm always up for chatting about tech, trading book recommendations, or hearing about what you're building. Find me on LinkedIn .
If you want updates when I post something new, you can subscribe here. No spam, no hustle, just occasional emails when I find something worth sharing.
